Don directs our audit practice for employee benefit plans and has extensive experience in providing technical review for manufacturing, construction and retail/wholesale companies. Don is an Audit Principal who is responsible for directing the firm’s quality assurance policies and program.

After receiving his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Don began his public accounting career in 1982 with Ernst & Young.

Don is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors and the Institute of Management Accountants.

Don’s community activities include his role as a past Board Member for the Blount County Board of Education and the Blount County Education Foundation. Don is the Founder and League Director of the Blount County Outward Baseball and Softball leagues and has also served as the Treasurer for the Eagleton Little League. Don also serves his local church and the Chilhowee Baptist Association.
