A founder of Coulter & Justus, Ron has been a
visionary for the firm and this has facilitated
our exponential growth. Ron’s personable
approach to working with people not only
provides great service to our clients, but also
adds to our unique culture and coaching
environment for staff.
Ron began his accounting career in 1971 after
receiving his B.S. Degree in Business
Administration from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville.
While a partner with Ernst & Young, Ron served
as the director of the office’s tax and
litigation support services, a role he continues
to serve today. He is primarily responsible for
tax services related to corporate mergers and
acquisitions, S Corporations, partnership
issues, alternative minimum-tax issues and
general issues involving entrepreneurial
clients.
Ron enjoys serving our community and is a member
and former president of the West Knoxville
Rotary Club. He serves as a Board Member for
the Boy Scouts of America, is a past Chancellor
Associate, serves on the Board of the Downtown
Knoxville YMCA and is a graduate of Leadership
Knoxville. Ron’s activities also include many
other local civic clubs and organizations.
