As a founder and President of Coulter & Justus,
P.C., Sam embodies the leadership qualities that
foster a culture of care for our employees and
our clients. He leads a team that offers
professional growth and provides opportunities
for our staff as well as exceptional service to
our clients.
Sam began his public accounting career in 1969
after receiving his B.S. in Business
Administration from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville.
Sam’s experience in public accounting includes
serving clients in manufacturing, retail and
wholesale, healthcare. He also has provided
extensive services to public companies,
including assisting them in the registration
process.
As a partner with Ernst & Young, he served on
Ernst & Young's Southeast Region Technical
Committee and on its National Retail Committee.
He also served as a member of a special national
task force to recommend changes in accounting
for income taxes.
Sam also has a commitment to providing service
to his community. He has held numerous
leadership positions in the community including
Treasurer of the Knoxville Salvation Army and
President of the Knoxville Rotary Club.
